Pierre Marcolini (the finest chocolate tasted to date)

Folks, its been almost a month and our withdrawal symptoms for Paris is lingering by the minute. This man is the cause of most of our pain. His passion for the finest taste and favours led us hook by our taste-buds and after looking searching over the internet, we found that the nearest location to sleek his divine work is in Tokyo.

Pierre Marcolini makes some of the greatest chocolate known to mere motels like me and Alyce. He come known to us one fine day after we stop by at the Galleries Lafayette Homme Store in Paris. I was attached by the simple coco bean logo attached to his name and waited patiently we would ever try some chocolate bars over the other 50 selections in the supermarket.

My passion for design draws to even packaging. Pierre, even without a whiff, draws my attention so deeply as its simple yet strong design outlook of just a typefont and logo.

We finally manage to pick up 2 bars of Marcolini, about 5 euros each and pack it with the other luggage to be shipped back to Singapore.

BIG MISTAKE

After 2 days back in Singapore, we opened our first bar, an au lait chocolate of light grey cover with brown text and logo. We had a whiff of the bar and it was definably a rush to our senses. On our first bite, we are smitten, and regretted that we did not try it when we were in Paris.

We would be so kicking ourselves for not at least buy another dozen or so other flavours that we were lusting and now as our supply runs low, we seem to be addicts, wandering when we could taste fine milk with the notes of coco so distinct and magical.

we need some more of these great stuff!
