Ira + Yijun

This was the last few weddings that both Alvin and myself worked on for 2010, its was certainly one of the more memorable ones as well! Having to worked with both Yijun & Ira with their parents and siblings a week prior to the wedding certainly helped me to get more intimate images of the family. It was the great ray of morning light that filtered into Yijun room and made some nice images to start the day, the friends are all eager to make some damage of Ira and his company. They were treated to some kick-a$$ food and had to display their "gong fu" skills to the enjoyment of everyone. This was some wet job for the guys but in the name of good fun.
We took one of the shortest (not the shortest though) route to Ira home to change and walk over to the Amazing Grace Presbyterian Church to document the wedding. Again I was treated to a lively interaction of family and friends and even spotted a fellow Leica user! I enjoyed the huge and space of the Church and was pleasant that there were no "uncle bobs" in the wedding.
Everyone seem to enjoy the wedding as it is and left us the space to shoot. This is made so important as many guests do not understand that that the enjoyment that get from shooting on the side adds alot of strain to either my assistants of myself who may get into our frames unknowingly, sometimes at the most critical moments.
The reception was made awesome with the catering provided by Ira parents whom operate the restaurant Peranakan at the Keppel Club. Hardly to you see us eating at the job (excuse the pun) but I did pile up my plates after the job was done!
Guys I like to thank you all once again for giving us the space as well, i appreciate you not making a single call or sms to check on our progress even though i exceed my own 30 day dateline. I like to inform you that your wedding images are ready for collection ( an whopping 808) images from me alone and we are ready for lunch date!
Thank you Ira & Yijun!

Dear Gilbert, Kelvin and I are impressed with your professionalism and your genuine warmth. We liked you instantly, your warmth put us at ease immediately. We are glad that Yijun & Ira had you as their photographer. The pre-wedding shots kept us grinning from ear to ear for several days. The merriment, the smiles and laughter that you so candidly shot were all real cos you made us feel so at ease and so comfortable with each other. We really had a whale of a time. Thank you dear Gilbert for the wonderful times you have given to us. God bless you. Ah....don't forget lunch or dinner with us at PeraMakan. We're waiting for you.
