There is no business like showbusiness

This is one of the more usual places to shoot a bridal, right at the heart of a cinema! And its was a great concept by Simon and Beelan whom at first dreaded a bridal shoot but when convince, created a wonderful story for us to capture! Again light techniques and the beautiful gowns were tested once again as we race against time to make this a wonderful capture. Props were prepared and the couple made all effects to get this perfect! Thanks guys! Its was a great experience!

Chong Han & Joy

Simon and myself had a awesome session with Joy & Chong Han about 2 weeks ago for their bridal photography. As you can see, we had cast aside rules for a moment and let both Joy & Chong Han be just themselves, having great fun and me feeding all the ideas I had for the "school daze". This shoot will not be made better without Simon's assistance and logistics to boot. We explored the horses ground right up in the morning and went to Joy's friend home whom lives in a colonial style black & white house. We had to brave red ants, muddy tracks and horse dung and some rowdy students for the making of this shoot. Thanks for all the great time guys!

Leonard & Laura

Tom & myself had a field day shooting on Leonard & Laura's wedding reception last month at the Fullerton Hotel. My coverage started at Laura's home and I was greeted with lots of Larua's pals waiting to get their hands on Leonard and his brothers! After the mild gate crushing session we were treated to the union of the couple as we set off to their respective homes for tea ceremony.
I had most of my photographic endeavors when the couple were at ease with the timeline and both Jonathan (Substance Films)  and myself were able to get interesting coverage of both the couple. I love the spank on Laura, but deliberately refused to show it on the blog as I like to interpret a different side of Laura that even she may not see herself of, a poetic side to weddings as I visually document their wedding in an alternate light. Like showing the red sole to tell the label of the shoemaker, instead of spelling the label for all. Its the subtle details and attention that get make me think more to the couple thoughts than most people want to see then in. Leonard made a great deal to give Laura his very best too! Kudos to the couple and I hope to catch up with you guys soon, hopefully in HK!
