Room 123
I stroll into Raffles Hotel the next day to cover Pipo & Tim's wedding at the next door! Its was a very cosy and warm affair and we were greeted with smiles from the moment we step into their matrimonial home in town. Pipo is all radiant and glowing under the magic hands of Gin and Timothy cool and collected presence accounts for what he does in real life.
During the Ceremony in Raffles , I met up a few familiar faces that are close to the Tim's life. The circle is indeed rather small and some already knew our style of documentary wedding photography and are so used to us around weddings.
Again I'm still experimenting with different ways with new gear and having fun at the process. Enjoy the photographs!

Room 122
Room 122 was the room I spent last Saturday with Ella & Matthew at the Raffles Hotel. We started in the afternoon, makeup sessions by Joey. Joey is always positive and she has a clamming presence that made me more relaxed when shooting.
I really thank Ella from the bottom of my heart as she change her wedding date to suit our schedules. We met Ella quite differently form the rest of the brides-to-be. She had most of her wedding research done with magazines. She had took some pages of a gown she loved (from Dang of course) and it so happen I shot the campaign. Her Word Brides also ran an article on us and so happen that the photographer's pictures caught her eye.
We had a wonderful time on Saturday, in the East India Room where they had their banquet. I'm also so amass that Ella could manage to catch Matty's super quick speech during our pre-wedding session.
Matthew I think, is a very cool dude! The way he woo Ella at BQ bar was just so magical. His so super relax that I think he makes a perfect companion to Ella's robust energies.

Mayday!
Its May and one of our most hottest months for weddings! I made a beeline for Lisan, better known as Li to Rupert, home in the morning and met Kelly there. Its a coincidence that we have been working the same brides for the last 3 months or so. As far as weddings go, this is has its tender moments as well as some fray tempers! I tried to clam people down and hopefully defuse some storms! Haha!
As I mention earlier in my postings and in some interviews that I be going wider this year, trying to capture a more purer essence of the wedding as its very difficult to shoot with all the right expressions of all the subjects. The pictures include some new lenses used and I tired to shoot in a slightly different approach to broaden my scope as a photographer.
Its was a great blessing to be able to shoot this wedding and both Rupert and Lisan were very sweet, thoughtful with me and Tom and the family always tried to be very hospitable. I mangled seamlessly into the family early on and was able to capture very intimate moments with the family and friends. Thank you so much guys!
Ahah, Our team spent a great amount of time to put up the slideshow presentation for the US leg of the wedding as well, hope you enjoy the slideshow guys!
