Kaylan 7 days old

Nic, A friend once told me that babies are very magical and the first 7-9 days of an infant life should be documented extensively as the texture of their skin is very raw and it peels a very interesting texture when its just adjusting to the world. Little Kaylan is the pride of my ex clients Alica and Patrick 2nd child!

How time flies, here are some images to share, little Kaylan, 7 days old!

Bon Soir, Enchanté(e) Au Jardin

Parlez-vous anglais?, Si, Merci!

Its great to take on commissions on off beat, beautiful places! Today I had a chance to cover a wedding a Au Jardin. The type that makes my clock tick, small, intimate and cozy weddings where friends and family gather and celebrate the union of two individuals. It was a mini world conference at the heart of botanical gardens in Cluny Road. Again, makeup with Greggo was anything but boring! We enjoyed ourselves very much with our great hosts! Here are some images to highlight.

what is the secert to our success?

Alot of people always ask us, what do we do to make this pictures special? I often awe with amazement whenever I see some great work by my peers. Often its not that we are always lucky!

After attending Huy's workshop last month, I have reinforce this thought in my head. Photography is hard, really hard. If you want to get great images, you have to try to always break the expectations of yourself and try different approach to see and do things.

To see the action before it really happens, you need to be pay attention to the ongoings and anticipate the moments. This takes alot of heart and hard work to make it happen.

Notice a trend?

A lot of my clients are shifting from starting the day in the hotel instead of their homes. I see this a positive shift in my photography as generally the mood of the location is 'cleaner' and our clients save the hassle from traveling from one location to another. Tea ceremonies are also served in the suites/ location and the ordinations/ logistics are much easier to plan.

Happy National Day!

9th August Always hold different memories for different folks, for some families, its a day when everyone get together either in-front of the TV screen or preparing themselves for the nation's live performance in the Parade. Celebration seems to be the order of the day! This year I had the great honour to share National day with a very sweet couple, holding their celebrations at the Fullerton (now Conrad, I do not seem to visit you 2 weddings in a row?) Here are a very small sampling of what's to come and enjoy your honeymoon in Japan!

two lovely people and whole lots of kids!

What a great break! This year Alyce and myself managed to finish our busy July and had the luxury of traveling to Thailand for a very short break with the family and followed by another short visit to KL, land of great magazines, fashion and watches! I always love KL, very interesting place, people and food. I never quite understand why we never have Chillis in Singapore, Their margaritas are one of the best we ever had! Here are some of the pictures from the wedding we shot before we had our break, please enjoy!
