A selected few, at Novus
Heartwarming! That is one word I would describe our photographs and the differences between one taken from friends and professionals. I would feel for the moments and transcribe them into my visual documentary.
We started our coverage of Eda & Edwin in the afternoon at their residence, and made our own way down to Novus at National Museum to cover the wedding. Novus has a private room which can hold small dinner parties and I'm excited to be there once more for Mervyn & Cassandra's wedding in November!
We started our afternoon at Novus with tea ceremony in its beautiful bar setting and proceed outdoors with the official solemnization. The weather was beautiful and we had the glow of the evening sun to lit the ceremony.
Later, when I visited the dinner venue, I was blown away by the colours and arrangements of the floral display! I think its was a great job and important one to to beautify and liftup the venue.
One regrettable experience is the aircon was not up too par (not too cold) and the restaurant had to dim the lights so low that both the Yang and myself were left with very little options to explore creatively with the ambient lights that the restaurant can actually offer. The guests were pretty uncomfortable when almost everyone had to remove their jackets and still see some guests toiling with perspiration.
On a lighter note, I really like Edwin's shirt he wore for his 2nd outfit, its has decorated with lace patterns but with a masculine touch! I seen one such shirt at our favourite retailer going for almost $1200 (ouch) in KL but Silhouette did a much beautiful job at it from my observation.
The dinner looked very good as Edwin painstakingly choose their favourites from the menu and we were greeted with visual delight and photograph every course like a professional!
The evening highlight was a fire wielding performance by three good looking prefessionals! The crowd was wowed by the fearless display of light and aerobatics, what a treat!

wedding of Choon Hwee & Kaixin
Kai Xin's wedding shoe, taken lovingly from a shoe rack, Kaixin stays a few levels below my uncle's unit in the East! When I arrived Kaixin apartment, its feels immediately familiar.
Kai Xin getting ready, friends are putting their finishing touches, aka buttoning up the bride.
Kai Xin's brother, awaits Choon Hwee arrival.
The band of brothers all "pump up"!

leaving for church.
On the way, look at the radiant smiles!

Greeted by Choon Hwee's mother at the St Andrew Cathedral Chruch

The rings, I shot it in the church with the presiding photos below, The church regrettably uses sodium vapour lights ( the green lights) that omits incomplete wavelengths of colours. This results in casts that we cannot completely correct and since flash is not allowed, the colours are not the most ideal .
The last parting shot, I had a great time during the day but with Simon around, i got better!
I think Choon Hwee had a great time flinging the view!

Interesting pair of brothers, arms akimbo
Extra Large red packets, I do not think the couple had trouble remembering who presented this to them!
Little ones writing their well wishes!

The couple making their grand entrance!

Kaixin's friend, I seen her at Zan & Angie's wedding last year!
Gin, putting on the final touches for Kaixin's 2nd outfit, a stunner from Caroline from Silhouette!
I Love sendoffs! Thank You so much Kaixin & Choon Hwee to allowing us to be part of your wedding! We had great fun covering your celebrations!
